Luling Occupational Medicine Facility Medical Directors
Dr. Tamimie received his doctor of medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. As a fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Dr. Tamimie focuses on the preventative care for work-related injuries and illnesses. In addition to current membership in the Mid-South Occupational and Environmental Medicine Association, Dr. Tamimie also has served as the society’s president and participated in its board of directors for a number of years.
Douglas A. Swift, M.D.
Dr. Swift earned his doctor of medicine from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Swift has a master’s of science in public health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. He is a past member of the board of directors of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and has served three times as president of the Mid-South Occupational and Environmental Medicine Association. Dr. Swift is also a clinical associate professor in the School of Medicine and the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine as well as the School of Medicine at Tulane University. Dr. Swift is fluent in Spanish and English.
