Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for providing basic clinical care commensurate with his or her medical education to patients. Duties include performing initial clinical evaluations as well as directed procedures for urgent care, occupational health and workers’ compensation procedures. The MA prepares patients for continued medical evaluation by physicians, physician assistants and advanced registered nurse practitioners by taking a brief history, establishing vital signs, appropriate documentation and recognizing levels of acuity allowing appropriate medical intervention when necessary. Front Desk Receptionist

The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for creating a positive patient experience for all new and returning patients. Duties include registering patients, verifying insurance and discharging patients after their visit. The Front Desk Receptionist is accountable for informing patients of wait times and educating patients in regards to co-pays and/or deductibles as it relates to their insurance coverage. X-ray Technologist

The X-ray Technologist is responsible for providing basic clinical care to patients commensurate with their medical education. Duties include performing initial clinical evaluations as well as directed procedures for urgent care, occupational health and worker’s compensation procedures. This position will perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Prepare patients for continued medical evaluation by physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners by taking a brief history, establishing vital signs, recording appropriate documentation and recognizing levels of acuity allowing appropriate medical intervention when necessary. Physician

Provide medical care on a walk-in basis to address acute illnesses and injuries that require professional medical assistance within 24 hours. Full- and part-time positions are available, working between 18-36 hours/week.This position may be located at any of our clinics located in southeast Louisiana. Laboratory Services, Radiology, Nursing Staff, and On-Call Specialists are available. Outpatient only, no hospital or on call requirements. An established Electronic Medical Record is utilized.
