Plaquemines Medical Center (PMC) offers walk-in care for emergent medical needs, routine healthcare services, and physical examinations in a prompt and efficient manner. No appointment necessary. The center is open 7 days a week with extended hours. Patients seen at PMC are treated by our highly qualified staff and are released back to their Primary Care Physician for necessary follow-up care. Patients needing specialty care will be referred to a specialist’s office or to an emergency department. In addition to the treatment of a broad scope of illness and injuries, PMC also provides screening physicals for employment, school, sports, and summer camps as well as immunizations for tetanus, flu, and meningitis.
PMC commits to you that our staff and our physicians will meet and exceed your expectations. We are committed to meeting the healthcare service needs of all our community, including community businesses and our visitors.
